Collection: Zanini de Zanine
Zanini de Zanine was born in Rio de Janeiro and grew up watching his father, José Zanine Caldas, work. He interned with Sergio Rodrigues, during which he created his first piece of furniture. In 2002, he graduated in Industrial Design from PUC-Rio. Starting in 2003, he began producing furniture in solid wood, using demolition materials—columns, beams, and posts from old houses—branded as 'Contemporary Carpentry.' From 2005 onwards, he began creating a new line of furniture with industrially produced pieces, using not only wood from controlled sources but also various materials such as plastic, methacrylate, metals, and parts of other industrial products. To represent the furniture from this new line, Zanini founded Studio Zanini in 2011.
