From an early age, Mauricio immersed himself in the world of aesthetics, using design as both a language and a lens to interpret life. What began as a natural form of self-expression soon became his calling. Design, for him, is oxygen—a way to transform, inspire, and touch people through form, function, and feeling.

His career took shape quickly, leading him to a managerial role at a furniture company where he oversaw curation and store design. Later, he founded his own firm specializing in Architecture and Interior Design, expanding his creative reach and refining his signature style. Every curve, volume, and line in his work is deliberate—an artistic statement that reflects his love for the craft.

Mauricio’s talent and distinctive process caught the attention of the industry, leading to his first furniture collection—a debut that was met with acclaim and opened the door to collaborations with renowned brands. Today, he proudly serves as Exclusive Designer for Feeling Estofados, creating pieces celebrated both in Brazil and abroad.

In 2025, his Caju Accent Chair was honored with the Best Seat Award at ICFF in New York, further cementing his position as one of Brazil’s most celebrated contemporary designers. His collection for Luxus Maison embodies the hallmarks of his work: bold yet harmonious forms, thoughtful proportions, and an undeniable sense of elegance. Each creation is more than furniture—it’s a piece of art, designed to live with you, inspire you, and tell its own story over time.
