Brazilian designer Ronald Sasson, born in Curitiba in 1967, has been connected to design since adolescence, starting with the creation of experimental objects. At the age of 18, he moved to Paris, where he was exposed to conceptual and neo-experimental art galleries, followed by a period in Israel that further expanded his artistic vision.
Back in Brazil, he worked as a plastic artist for more than seven years, participating in numerous art salons and gradually transitioning into the field of design. Entirely self-taught, Sasson developed a style that merges his artistic, authorial background with the industrial and replicable possibilities of design.
Over his career, Sasson has received more than 26 international awards, including 5 iF Design Awards (Germany), 4 German Design Award nominations, 6 Good Design Awards (Chicago), 7 A’Design Awards (Italy), 1 Restaurant & Bar Design Award (England), the Casa Vogue Design Award (Brazil), and the Museu da Casa Brasileira Award.
His work has been exhibited at the Biennale di Venezia (2018), Artgenève in Monte Carlo (2017), NHOW Milan (2016), and in notable collective exhibitions such as Frio and Marble History.
