Pedro Mendes

Born in São José do Rio Preto, Brazil, Pedro Mendes grew up closely observing the production processes of the furniture industry. He graduated in Business Administration before moving to São Paulo to study Industrial Design at Mackenzie University — a dual academic background that shaped him into both a creative visionary and an entrepreneur.

With ateliers in São Paulo and São Francisco Xavier, in the Serra da Mantiqueira, Pedro develops timeless and sophisticated designs with clean lines, always maintaining a focus on functionality. His work combines straight and organic forms, blending materials such as steel, acrylic, glass, aluminum, and, most prominently, wood — his signature medium.

Pedro’s creations stand out for their elegance, balance, and originality, often merging different materials through precise craftsmanship. Deeply involved in every stage of production, he personally models and renders each design in 3D, ensuring that every detail reflects his vision.

His work has been exhibited internationally, with pieces exported to the United States, Canada, South Africa, Mozambique, Panama, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Portugal, and the United Kingdom, earning recognition for its unique aesthetic and refined execution.
