Inspired by the iconic Lapa Arches in Rio de Janeiro, this lounge chair pays homage to the robust yet elegant structure that once served as an aqueduct and now supports the Santa Teresa trams. The sweeping curves of the backrests mimic the grand arches, while the continuous lines of the arms evoke the lightness of the trams in motion. The circular seat, following the backrest’s curve, ensures enveloping comfort. The solid wood base, with its bold lines, mirrors the architectural strength of the historical structure.
