Collection: Pedro Useche
Pedro Useche, born in Venezuela in 1956, graduated in Architecture from the Universidad Central de Venezuela before moving to Brazil in 1984. Since then, he has become one of the most influential names in Brazilian design, especially from the 1990s onwards.
His career is marked by extensive research, an impeccable pursuit of perfection, and a constant evolution of his creations — with pieces often reimagined to achieve even greater uniqueness. Over the decades, Useche has participated in major design events worldwide, including the International Furniture Fair of Milan, the Design Biennale of Saint-Étienne (France), and the Brazilian Design Biennials at Instituto Tomie Ohtake and Museu da Casa Brasileira.
Awards & Recognition
Pedro has received multiple prestigious awards, such as 1st Prize – Museu da Casa Brasileira (Chair 20R, 2000), National Abimóvel Award (Seat 3L, 2001), and the Planeta Casa Prize (Line Tak, 2012). His works — like the Grillo chair, Eixo 7 magazine rack, and Flexus line — have become icons of contemporary Brazilian furniture.
Design Philosophy
For Useche, design is the result of deep material understanding and a dialogue between form, function, and innovation. His approach combines architectural thinking with craftsmanship precision, creating timeless furniture that balances structural intelligence with aesthetic refinement.
Today, Pedro continues to design and develop authentic, sustainable, and culturally rich pieces, maintaining his position as a reference in contemporary Latin American design.
