Collection: Patrick Norguet

Patrick Norguet is a French designer, born in Tours in 1969, who perfectly embodies the definition of a contemporary creator. At the core of a collective and innovative approach, he stands as a key protagonist in every project. With a keen eye for context, an analytical approach to constraints, and deep respect for tradition, he has built strong relationships with manufacturers and clients worldwide.

Graduated in design from ESDI, Norguet began his career designing store windows for luxury icons such as Yves Saint Laurent and Louis Vuitton, experiences that taught him about brand identity and the art of showcasing it. While creating event stands for Renault, he refined his skills in ephemeral architecture. His international breakthrough came in 2000 with the Rainbow Chair, produced by Giulio Cappellini, which brought him global visibility. Since then, he has collaborated with brands such as Alias, Arflex, Artemide, Cassina, Emu, Ethimo, Glass Italia, Kristalia, Lea Ceramica, Pedrali, de Padova, and Tacchini, always blending his passion for industrial processes with artisanal excellence.

Over the course of his career, Norguet has received numerous awards and distinctions, including the Red Dot Award “Best of the Best”, the German Design Award, the AZ Award, the Muuuz International Award, the Wallpaper Design Award, and the Grand Prix du Design de la Ville de Paris. He was named Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and has works such as the Rainbow Chair in the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York. His trajectory also includes major international exhibitions, retrospectives, and appearances in prestigious rankings such as the Wallpaper Power 200.

For Norguet, the role of a designer goes beyond aesthetics: it is about being an agent of change in services and lifestyles. From the sketch to the industrial process, he strives to create long-lasting collections that balance functionality, emotion, and identity.
