Marcelo Ligieri

Marcelo Ligieri is a Brazilian architect, industrial designer, and former creative director with extensive experience in furniture industry leadership. Educated at the Faculdade Metodista Izabela Hendrix, he began his journey into furniture design in 1999 and has since developed over 500 products, many with international reach.

Previously a professor at the State University of Minas Gerais (UEMG) for seven years, Ligieri is known for blending industrial know-how with market insight, crafting products that are both technically advanced and commercially successful.

His designs—such as the elegant Ale Chair, sleek Drops Stool, and minimalist Fast Dining Table—demonstrate a mastery of materiality, structure, and clean modern lines.
