Collection: Daniel Simonini

Brazilian-born and Milan-refined designer Daniel Simonini is the founder and creative director of SIMONINI — a global design studio dedicated to crafting timeless, handcrafted furniture that blends sensual minimalism with structural clarity. His work sits at the intersection of architecture, sculpture, and industrial precision, uniting Italian-Brazilian heritage with a sharp curatorial eye.

Raised between cultures and trained in multiple disciplines, Simonini studied at IED – Istituto Europeo di Design and earned a Master’s in Industrial and Interior Design from SPD – Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan. Early in his career, he collaborated with iconic Italian designers such as Ferruccio Laviani, Rodolfo Dordoni, Piero Lissoni, Roberto Palomba, and Raffaella Mangiarotti — a formative experience that deeply shaped his aesthetic and architectural approach.

His trajectory spans over a decade of international collaborations and award-winning creations, recognized by institutions including the iF Design Award, German Design Award, Compasso d’Oro, Iconic Design Awards, LED Festival Milano, Museu da Casa Brasileira, and Prêmio Salão Design. Simonini’s pieces are designed with discipline, restraint, and purpose, where every curve, joint, and proportion is intentional, balancing organic warmth with rational precision.

Under his direction, SIMONINI has established a unique voice in the global design landscape — one where craftsmanship meets contemporary clarity, and furniture is created to resonate with time rather than resist it.
