Cláudia Moreira Salles

Claudia Moreira Salles was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1955 and graduated from the School of Industrial Design (ESDI) in the same city in 1978. She developed several projects for mass production in collaboration with industries. In the mid-1980s, she moved to São Paulo and began designing furniture with exceptional technical refinement, crafted using artisanal or semi-artisanal methods, exploring the possibilities of wood. The designer's creations have crossed the country's borders. Her furniture has been featured in various specialized magazines in different countries and is sold in several cities abroad, such as New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Lisbon, and Düsseldorf.
