Founded in 2009, Studio MAPA.A was one of the first consultancy firms in Brazil to combine product curation for retail with product and accessory development for the furniture industry.

Marcia Nogueira, an industrial design graduate from FAAP, works in interior design, product curation, and the creation and development of products and accessories, including complete collections for launches in factories and retail stores.

Giselda M. Jacob holds a degree in Production Engineering from FEI and a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from FGV.

The studio’s inspiration comes from daily life, interior design projects, and the art of living. They value form, detail, and functionality, seeking new uses for products. Guided by a free-form concept rather than a fixed style, their work embraces simple and fluid shapes, enhancing details while moving seamlessly between modern and contemporary design.
