Renata Távora

Brazilian designer Renata Távora, founder and creative force behind Studio Massa, brings a unique blend of global experience and authentic Brazilian identity to her work. Originally from Pernambuco, Renata left a career in finance to pursue her passion for design, earning a Postgraduate degree in Interior Design from UCLA and studying Furniture Design at the Art Center in Los Angeles.

After three years abroad, she returned to Brazil in 2015 with a clear vision and founded Studio Massa in São Paulo in 2017. Her creations reflect a deep belief that furniture and objects go beyond form and function — they create atmosphere, transform spaces, and shape the way we live in them.

Crafted in Brazil through collaborations with skilled artisans and partners, her work combines creative freedom, minimalism, and a distinctive personality, making Studio Massa a direct reflection of Renata’s story, values, and passion for design.
