Deivid de Almeida

Deivid de Almeida is a designer based in Bento Gonçalves, Brazil, where he has lived since the early 2000s. Passionate about the Serra Gaúcha region, his main inspirations come from local culture, art, literature, geometric forms, and natural materials such as leather and wood — elements he combines with refined design.

He believes that furniture goes beyond its functional role, carrying the responsibility to express the personality and lifestyle of the people who live with it.

Over the years in the furniture industry, Deivid has collaborated with prominent names in Brazilian design, including Ronald Sasson, with whom he worked for several years, contributing to the development of award-winning products such as the Yori, Emme, and Madonna armchairs.

Currently, Deivid also serves as coordinator of the Jhovini Studio, where he aims not only to continue the brand’s legacy of excellence but also to make his mark in the industry by proposing timeless, versatile furniture with a classic touch — betting on simple, well-defined products with exceptional craftsmanship.
