Alex dos Santos

Alex dos Santos is a talented self-taught designer who began his journey through independent study using instructional manuals. Over time, he honed his skills and transitioned into professional practice, covering a wide range of disciplines including furniture, lighting, interior layouts, and plasterwork. 

His studio has produced a diverse portfolio of products such as the Luizi Chair (with and without armrest), Victoria Stool, Dora Bench, JK Tray, Ego Rack, Lush Dining Table, Hit Dining Table, and Jansen Coffee Table—demonstrating his versatility across categories from seating to storage. 

In addition to his design work, Alex collaborated with CGS Móveis where he gained expertise in CNC programming and the production–creative interface central to industrial furniture design. This experience informs his thoughtful balance between artistic vision and manufacturing practicality. 

Alex’s trajectory is marked not by formal education, but by curiosity, persistence, and multifaceted exploration. His designs are imbued with an artisanal spirit and functional integrity—making them both expressive and accessible.
